About the Artist

"From childhood's hour I have not been as others were;
 I have not seen as others saw." -Edgar Allen Poe

Nature and Mythology have always Inspired me.

I have always felt as though there were an animal side to me,
almost as though I could move between two worlds or perspectives,
and as a result I can scarcely say I belong to either world completely.

As a child I was much more concerned with the Natural World
than what was considered mainstream and expected.
I loved to create and spent my time searching Native American Myths for Inspiration.
Often Legends spoke of Shapeshifters and Shamans, which made sense to me.

I have worked with many artistic mediums from a very early age.
Often drawn to creating images and representations of wolves,
I soon became aware that whatever I chose to focus on had to include them.
It is no wonder, then, that a wolf mask was the very first I ever created!

I continue to draw Inspiration from Native American Myths and Legends.
NeoPagan culture and Classical literature also play a role in my more recent creations.

In all of my work I try to capture the beauty and mystery of the ethereal creatures
that lie around us as well as within us.
